Highland of Ceylon

We will arrange a visit to a tea plantation where you will learn a bit of basic knowledge about how our famous cup of tea is made; from the planting of the seed to plucking that perfect tea leaf and then the process that goes into drying and grinding it into that bold flavor called Ceylon tea, we all have come to love.

Though a small island, Sri Lanka is blessed with over four hundred waterfalls. Some of the waterfalls you do not want to miss are: The Lover’s Leap, Ravana falls, Ramboda falls, Laxapana falls, St. Claire waterfall and Diyaluma falls. The waterfalls come along with some adventurous trekking trips. So let us know if you are on the look-out for a thrilling experience.

Enjoy one of the world’s famous scenic train rides through lush greenery, tea plantations, waterfalls and breathtaking misty mountains.

• The best part of the scenery is between Talawakelle and Haputale
• If you travel early morning, it will give you an experience of riding between the clouds.
• Stop by Pattipola, a legendary landmark which known as the highest located railway station in Sri Lanka.
• The most famous ride is from Nanu Oya to Ella, so make sure to let us know to book your tickets in advance because they sell out fast.
